ash gourd sambar recipe : ingredients : ash gourd - 1/4 kg , small onion - 10 , tomato - 1 , tamarind - size of small amla , sambar chilli powder - 2 tbsp , toor dal - 50g , salt to taste aloo matar masala recipe : ingredients : aloo - 1 , green peas (matar) - 1 cup , garlic - 8 pods , banglore tomato - 1 , big onion - 1 curry masal powder - 2 tsp , salt to taste for seasoning : fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp , pepper corns - 1/4 tsp soaked toor dal for tomato rasam and ash gourd sambar recipe the ash gourd by nature is a vegetable with water content . make sure that the ash gourd sambar should be a bit thick. i have soaked two handful of toor dal. boil the soaked toor dal . allow it for 1 pressure sounds. cabbage & sprout green gram poriyal recipe for 1 cup of sprouted green gram add 2 cups of chopped cabbage.

the chilli powder quantity is based on the amount of tamarind used for sambar. the toor dal has been boiled well. take the toor dal separately for preparing rasam(charu) add all the ingredients to the pressure cooker along with the toor dal. check the spiciness of the sambar and if required add chilli powder , if you later then it will give you a raw smell. allow it for 1 pressure sound. the cabbage and the sprouted moong dal has been cooked . now lets prepare the cabbage & sprouted moong dal poriyal check the taste of salt in the steamed vegetables,if required add .
once the onion is sauted well add the steamed vegetables. once when the vegetable gets mixed well , add the grated coconut. healthy and tasty cabbage & sprouted moong dal is ready !!! the ash gourd sambar is also ready . wait until the cooker cools down to room temperature. we will cook the rice . i have already uploaded a video regarding how to cook rice. i have soaked the rice for 1 hr once when the water is warm enough add the soaked rice. lets prepare aloo matar masala recipe you will get a good aroma of garlic and fennel seeds while sauting.
add 1/4 tsp of ghee , which will enhance the flavor of the dish. ash gourd sambar is ready !!! the dish that i have prepared today serves for 4 wait until the potato gets sauted . do not saute the green peas.as the water content in the vegetable will be absorbed and they will shrink. add little water.about 1/2 glass. aloo matar masala is ready !!! boil the tomato for preparing rasam. another way is to boil the tomato along with toor dal. when we follow this method the there will be no crack in the tomato.
mash the boiled tomato well. add the mashed tomato to the tamarind extract salt to taste coarsely grind all these ingredients. boil the mashed tomato+tamarind and toor dal water rasam should not be boiled after seasoning . the coarsely grinded mixture the rasam has started to boil , let's season it. heat a tsp of oil
after seasoning do not boil the rasam , switch of the flame. add a pinch of sugar or jaggery to the rasam , which will enhance the flavor of the dish. tomato rasam is ready !!! it nearly took 40 mins for me to cook all these dishes. subscribe to us on youtube and facebook to get the regular updates !!!
